Senior Peer Counsellors of BC

What is the Senior Peer Counselling Program?

Senior Peer Counselling of British Columbia (SPC/BC) is a provincially  incorporated Society and a federally registered non-profit organization  which addresses the health of aged persons by bringing together,  promoting and supporting community-based Senior Peer Counselling (SPC)  services or similar service providers throughout the province.

Communications Director: Rachel Doucette  Has been an  active member with the Chilliwack Senior Peer Counsellors for the last 7  years. She passionately volunteers for seniors and delivers  presentations to her community to show the importance of the peer  counselling program. She is also involved with Veterans and the local  CFB Chilliwack Historical Society.  She advocates for seniors on many  levels and sees a future in which respect for our elders is linked to  their wellness.
